Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Despite his gender Mano was allowed to join the Priestesses of the Silver Moon. Coming from a long line of members of that prestigious order, the laying of his egg was a difficult one and left his mother unable to ever do so again on the danger of her own death. As his mother's only offspring an exception was made for Mano and he could join the order, whose main goal is the spreading of peace between all dragons through education.

Formerly Mano is considered a female to meet with the order's charter, but he is very much a normal male, likes the ladies and is very, very happy that neither his clan nor his order have any rules against "female"—female relationships.
