Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts winter weather.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Quite unusually this dragon has remained a hatchling since its arrival to the cave. By all accounts it should be an adult. It does not engage in play with other hatchlings, nor does it socialise with many of the adults. It appears to prefer solitude. It seems strange that such a solitary dragon would join a clan such as this, but perhaps its unusual state made it feel out of place elsewhere.

The co-habitation of the star clan continues to baffle observers.
