White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Purest is the fifth or so born of Clan Islandic. She kept to herself for many years of her life but eventually found her refuge in a fiery- tempered wyvern simply known as Flame. As an egg, her home tribe was hunted for what was later found to be an immense healing power within her; her uncontrollable healing magic is always flowing through her, though she has discovered she cannot use it on any others but herself. This involuntary skill magnified itself in her first son, whose healing power goes as far as to protect others around him. If word were to get out about her child, bad things could happen to Islandic. She does not worry about this, however, and continues to love her sons like no other dragon. She vows to stay with Flame till the end of their days and further.
