Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Keal is tough as nails and has a no-nonsense approach to almost everything. He is the leader of the coastal guard—a group of dragons securing the coastal region and border of the lands of the clan. As such he works closely with Fury and Fumee in keeping the clan safe and secure. But although he is very competent in what he does, Keal is far from well liked among the other dragons working for the good of the clan. Because Keal is headstrong, unwilling to compromise, and not interested in social niceties, he often clashes with the dragons held in high regard by most. On the other hand, Keal is not afraid to tell even the most arrogant Crimson, or powerful Magi what he thinks of them if they screw up. So all in all most think of him as being worth the trouble he causes.
