Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Dragon" "Secretive, reserved" in Japanese, since he spent all his hatchling days hiding in a tree. He is however completely open to his mate Maiko, whom he loves with all his heart and more, and has since they were hatchlings. He once asked his adoptive father Kentaro what it meant to be in love, his father answered "It's when you can't imagine life without that person, and you'd give the world just to see them smile". He and Maiko have tried to have biological children, but it didn't work. They do however They are thrilled with Mamosuke's new mate, Emi, and can't wait to have grandkids on the way. They will also try again to have biological children, but not until their hatchlings are grown up, and they're not in a rush, they have forever after all, and they'll always have each other.
