Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Eera looked up to his father. In Eera's eyes, Terrae could do no wrong—until a night came around that he would never forget.

It was a quiet night. The hatchlings were sleeping, and the Grave Dragons were cleaning and lighting torches. The Ember dragons were looking after the eggs tonight, and Eera was serving his father beverages strong enough to down the average Guardian Dragon with a sip. Thankfully (or unfortunately, as it were), Terrae had a strong tolerance for alcohol, so he got tipsy. And he started to talk.

No details were given by Eera, but the gist of it is that Terrae declared him a mistake, that he was not his actual son, and that he should just banish himself to the deepest part of the Desolation.

Before anything else could be said, the dragon passed out, but the damage was done, and Eera no longer looked up to him like a hero.
