Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
The egg had what looked like writing, jsjAR. It was brought to Mentha, who first identified it as a Deep Sea egg, then went to Lapis and Barbossa, ocean-going friends, to ask their opinions. Barbossa told of a pirating dragon named Captain Jack Sparrow, and the story of a jar he carried for some time. Maybe this was his Jar.
Well, the egg was never told the story, although they named him Jar, but he grew up insisting he carried dirt and the thumpity-thump of Davy Jones within him. The other hatchlings ignored his fancies, and he made friends easily, despite his apparent delusions. However, as adulthood loomed, he returned to the depths alone, scouring the oceans, searching for the answers to the mystery that lay within his soul.
