Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Paper Crane is very skittish and frightened of just about anyone and anything. It refuses to go near any fire-breathing dragons, and water dragons that would dampen its body, thus rendering it useless in flight, are a source of constant concern. The only way this enchanted parchment finds solace is with other Paper dragons, who can cause no harm to each other. Crane is even wary of its tamer and will sometimes refuse to come when called.
