And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Taka Tiki was named such because the only noise he could make sounded like that. While he is telepathically quite verbose, he is mostly silent otherwise. He was often teased about the strange sounds he made, making him stop making any sound at all. This disturbs his mother quite a bit, but she is too busy to watch over the humans harvesting to change anything. Taka Tiki wished to be frozen because he didn't think an adult with his name would be respected. He instead revels in his childish behaviour. He has a very mischievous side, like to play colourful pranks on the adult dragons. Sometimes, he gets help from his friend Tamaras Skye, who loves to see the resulting chaos the pranks cause.
