Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Electric yellow scales shimmer brightly across its belly, and an even brighter spark adorns its tail.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sparking Wrath is an active hatchling with a temper to match his name. Despite his small body, he has a big, easily-bruised ego that leads him to shock other dragons with his electricity for the smallest perceived infraction. Luckily for everyone else, his bark is much worse than his bite. Because he acts much tougher than he is, he often gets in over his head, and has had to be carried off by his adoptive parents Wrathra and Rasura many times to keep any stronger dragons from giving him a few hard knocks.

When he isn't bothering the adults, he likes to roughhouse with the some of the other hatchlings, especially black and hellfire hatchlings. He is jealous that he can't fly yet and often chases after the winged hatchlings if they glide over him, trying to shock them. Most of the adult dragons hope he will calm down if he ever gets wings, but they aren't holding their breath.
