Greater Spotted Drakes are found in open pine and oak forests. They are among the larger end of the spectrum, but are quite laid back and feed mostly on plant material. They are ambush predators and rely on their dappled markings for camouflage. Females are usually larger than males, though males are brighter in color. In the breeding season the male attracts a mate by making loud, low-pitched bugles, followed by an aerial courtship dance as proof of his quality as a father to her offspring.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

PC eat NPC lives in Nworset's library and can often be spotted snoozing on top of a large bookshelf in the mystery section. Her second-favourite haunt is in the children's section, browsing around the furniture for any dropped pieces of candy. She is mostly a pet of the librarians, Sakuha and YULBD, but she also 'works' as part of an early reading program. The adult dragons encourage a young reader to read to PC eat NPC, and she listens attentively. If the wyrmling stops reading, she will point at the page and say, "book!" In the evenings, she also helps immigrants to Nworset who are learning the dacrune alphabet.

In the afternoon after the children's reading group, a roleplaying group has their meetings in the library. PC eat NPC originally joined them for the spilled snack food, but has since grown interested in the roleplaying. If there is a break in the action, she will pop her head up from under the table, point at a random game piece, and advise one of the players to "eat it!"
