Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves watching the reflection of stars in the water.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lullaby is always very sleepy. No dragon has found out yet why she sleeps at least as much as three cats and the theories vary from curses involving spindles, recessive genetics from Pillow ancestors, to some dysfunctional glands. Whatever the reason, Lullaby's sleepiness is contagious and every hatchling or grown-up dragon who spends too much time in her vicinity will unerringly fall asleep.
