White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aviaran has very soft, fine skin, leading to a multitude of scratches and scars resulting from minor injuries. Having an open wound on his hide is so commonplace that he rarely bothers to exert the energy needed to tend to it; in fact his white feathers are often stained red with his own blood, making him look like a madman or perhaps a murder victim. Unfortunately for his clanmates, Aviaran also has a very sick sense of humor. On more than one occasion his friends have found him lying supposedly unconscious in a pool of blood, only to find that the real cause of the wound was an itch he scratched too hard... after they start to mourn him. He is however a great spirit during the Halloween holiday. No trick-or-treating hatchlings ever come away from his cave without having been scared half to death (and of course buckets having been filled with candy in retribution).
