Garland Dragons are a welcome sight in the skies during the holiday season. Their slightly luminous scales shine softly at night or catch the day’s sunbeams as they turn loops and spirals in the sky. They will often drape themselves around tall pine trees or along rooflines, adding a festive note to the winter scenery. Occasionally they drop red mana berries from their garland-like mane, which offer a comforting warmth to those that find them.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Garlands are known for their holiday spirit, but this particular one is special. A few days before Christmas, jUUUI was busy as usual building a festive display in the trees of her village. She gathered evergreen branches and leafy mistletoe sprigs to decorate the area. As she was just about to call it a night, she heard a tiny whisper in the woods. Curious, she left her cache of holiday decor and went to investigate. As she came closer, she started to comprehend the language of the tiny voice. It was singing a Christmas carol over and over again. Much to her amusement, it was a Mint dragon. The little beast was going about the same activity as she was, decorating its tiny abode with little pine needles and holly berries. The two forged a beautiful relationship from that day forward. Their collaborative efforts produced grand displays of holiday cheer which also included tiny, intricate works of wonder. Many humans and dragons would come from far and wide to be cheered.
