Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There once was a dragon named -The Grinch- who was kept by a sorcerer known only by his famous spell 'deathwisp.' The dragon was, despite his name, a lover of Christmas. He could never show it for fear of attracting the attention of the dark sorcerer, so he took several mates. One dragon, a female in white with the purest of stripes held his heart. Her name was Alabastra Prizma. -The Grinch- and his love had many children, children that he could never see because he remained in hiding. Those children had young of their own and so passed the generations, until one day a remarkable son was born. This son longed to know his history, to understand his deep love of the Holidays and with effort learned of his great-grandfather. Traveling far and wide, this past Christmas he visited -The Grinch- and learned stories filled with fear, joy and wonder. Before he left his great-grandfather honored him with a name. He named him Grinch's Yuletide and so his own journey began.
