Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Not much is known about Juakali and Heilios. Since their births, they have kept to themselves for the most part. Clan dragons have given up trying to talk to them. Besides, there's something off about the sunshine pair.

But one thing has always been true about them; they are gorgeous. Amazingly beautiful. The pair cause a combination of awe and fear to all of the clan dragons. In the twin's case, jealousy and envy as well. It is also known that they are in an intense, passionate relationship. Nothing could tear them from one another. Though it wasn't always that way. Their first son is seen as the most desirable dragon in the clan; though they weren't much part of his life after his birth.

In her younger years, Juakali was a bit more social. She had two successful offspring with the clan player, Macau.

Juakali is rarely seen in colder weather days, preferring the heat. Anyone who has ever been in close proximity with her will say that all around her's a shield of warmth like the sun.
