Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tonitrua means "thunders". A good name for her since she thunders in a loud voice, yelling and howling at people over the storms that often accompany her. Though, her hollering doesn't mean that she's angry. In fact, she is quite a happy and cheerful dragon. She often hangs out with some of the Gray Dragons of her cave, like Lorien Storm, Cloud Cover or Evapore. One of her favourite things do is to make storms with her mate, Cole MacGrath, another Electric Dragon. She also loves to race with a Horse Dragon named Equus Bellator and a Whiptail named Assistant to The Riddler. Tonitrua usually wins said races, but only when a storm is about; thunder and lightning give her strength and energy. Though she may seem energetic and somewhat hyper, she loves her mate, and she loves to huddle under a tree to nap in his wings.
