Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Harley Moon like many dragons was given choice of never growing. He thought on the idea many a night, which is vary rare in dragons so young, and decided to stay the same realizing that he will never fly on his own. The other hatch lings paid little attention to him then instead preferring to play then think. But Hersheys Kiss who even in adulthood will remain flightless befriended him. They became inseparable ever since.
