Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Night Emerald is a contented loner, spending most of her days in a cave not too far below where the fearsome vine dragon Toxicodendron makes her home. Only emerging at night to feed, Emerald still has her share of fun-- perhaps causing a small earthquake or two, just to remind everyone else who's boss. Her favorite pastime, besides adding to her hoard of precious gemstones, is teasing Toxicodendron, shaking the ground just enough to disturb the dragon's underground vines. This naturally makes Toxic very angry indeed, but she has not yet discovered the cause of the disturbances. And Emerald, secure in the safety of her underground cave, is not about to tell her.
