Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Jaela is a flighty creature, with trust issues when it comes to humans. She is entitled 'Ka' due to her mate's status as 'Ko' (warrior) to their leader, a white dragon called Khal Zeroun. She and her mate Saloso tend to keep to themselves and the forests within Zeroun's territory, maintaining the boundaries of his kingdom and generally avoiding other dragons. Though she is none to fond of humans or other dragons, Jaela will oft be found befriending small woodland creatures, and becomes fiercely protective if they should be threatened. One in particular, a female fawn whose mother was lost to a Spotted Greenwing, came under Jaela's care a few years ago. To this day the young doe and she are nigh inseparable, hence the surname Deertender.
