Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This unofficial X-mas dragon is special. Having had her egg laid, hatched, and grown up all in the same month as the special holiday, Gracira is special. She has talent and is nicer than most Spitfires. She has the skill to make a whole glass network of caves and passages all in one night. She will welcome any lone dragon into her home and try to become their friend, which works most times. She gives gifts to other dragons at all times of the year, even just for fun. Gracira is probably the most generous of her breed.
