Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Shining Silver Reflection is a royal blue dragon. She is very thoughtful and reflective on her actions, and she always reviews what she does each day and strives to become better. Thus, she is one of the most well-behaved and courteous dragons in her clan, not to mention one of the prettiest and most attractive. However, she has a tendency to be redundant, and often does things twice (nobody really minds). Although she did not do anything against Silvery Stream of Nerju, the narcissistic lumina dragon is always trying to insult, spread rumors, and generally put Shining Silver Reflection into a bad light. Even though the 'beauty queen' tried her nastiest effort, she hasn't succeeded in her campaign to reduce the royal blue dragon's reputation to nothing, and Shining Silver Reflection remains one of the favorite dragons of her clan.
