Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Illustrious blessed certainly lives up to his name being very blessed with intelligence, great sense of hearing and smell. Because of his extremely developed senses he can track anyone he wants if he has smelled something personal of them. He can track them from miles away. He is the clan's detective and bloodhound. Because he has smelled every clan member at least once he knows exactly where each one of them is. Illustrious hates injustice and also functions like the police of the clan. Illustrious problem is however is that he can't do his work alone because he is physically weak, he can't stop anyone with force when that is needed. He is allowed to select his own team in the clan since every problem, crime or enemy is different and sometimes need a different approach. Clan members try to avoid him because of this even though they know that this is almost impossible. They also don't like it sometimes that he has the ability to track anyone because they think it hurts their privacy.
