Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Savior hatched from her egg, she could hear whimpering from the egg beside her. The egg shook and from within, the baby scratched. Even though she was exhausted from her own birth, she quickly set to work. For an hour the dragon pecked at the egg until finally an identical hatchling fell to the ground. When she ran forward to greet her new sister, the newborn, Destruction, hissed at her and scrambled backward. Before long her sibling was stealing and threatening the others. Savior stood watching with dismay, attempting to step in whenever possible, but incredulous as to why her sister would be so ungrateful. It is hard to understand to this day why Savior cares about her malicious twin, but she does.
