Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Halzatar is the second Nightwatch and the adopted sister of Siannah. She doesn't approve of Siannah's romantic entanglement with Fierar, the Numeratis vampire, but she doesn't want to hurt her sister by keeping them separate. Even if Siannah is the eldest, Halzatar is more mature and takes the role of leader. She's quieter than her sister and a voice of reason in the horde, albeit a reclusive one. Halzatar is smaller and leaner than Siannah, and has been scarred from an attack by Acosar and Empire during one late-night patrol. As a result, she's more than a bit leery of most Numeratis.

She does like her nephew, Morado. He takes after his father in personality, and Halta finds him a refreshing change from the rest of the Numeratis. She often invites Morado along on her patrols, something that Siannah and Fierar encourage. After all, if they can prove to her that not all vampires are as horrible as Acosar and Empire, maybe they can gain an ally in their fight to be free of the Numeratis.
