Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Miraesmus SilverWings was left in the Origins territory by his parents, who could not take care of him properly at the time and thought he would have a better chance to succeed in a small clan that still accepted newcomers. He grew up alongside the other young dragons as though he was always a part of them. Only when he developed into a teenager did he finally meet his parents. Even though they offered to let him come back with them now that he was grown up, he declined; as much as he loved his parents, he had already had a family who cared for him all of his life. His mother and father understood, and were proud at how mature he had become. He now aids the clan any way he can, whether it be fighting to protect it or tending to the young. He is very kind and sympathetic, offering advice to anyone who needs it.
