Soulstone Dragons are deeply empathic creatures. The pearls which they carry with them from a very young age are deeply attuned to the emotions of those around them, glowing in accordance with the strength and sincerity of the bonds individuals share with one another. Soulstone dragons have the ability to show that, even in the heat of a vicious feud, the love that friends, family, and partners share for one another remains true and strong.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As a soulstone, it's no surprise that Ticklishness has an interest in light-based magic. What bothers other people is that she spends so much time and resources trying to concoct new spells that she might forget about everything else happening outside her den. The sky may go from dawn to dusk without her noticing the change in light level, sometimes due to her inattention and sometimes because the light she creates drowns out the natural light. During mid-winter, when many dragons prepare to attract potential partners, Ticklishness is usually on a field trip instead, looking for scrolls or mana. If she is present and seeking a mate, the easiest way to woo her is to give her a gift that combines mana (of any kind) with flowers (of any kind). Light crystals and lilacs guarantee the suitor an opportunity to stay with Ticklishness in her home, although none have stuck around for long since she shuns them to go back to studying.
