White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Elleanth is the firstborn hatchling of the Bryon Eyrie, or Weyr.  As such, she holds court over all the others. Even dragons of a more rare breed show deference to this gentle white. It is Elleanth who soothes disputes and heals the wounds others receive defending the Eyrie. She watches over hatchlings adopted into the Weyr, and acts in the role of surrogate mother until they are grown, and often for long years after.
