Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Brandon Act admires and envies dragons who either have beautiful or very strong scales. Being an Albino dragon Brandon has to coat himself with oil that would protect him from the sun. But the oil doesn't give Brandon protection for example during a fight. While dragons who have scales have a better defense and protection. Brandon is particularly fascinated by guardian, gold, silver and Turpentine dragons. He likes turpentine dragons because they also coat themselves with oil but that oil also protects them during physical fights. It may even because of this oil that turpentine dragons in the clan are so successful submitting strong dragons for food. Other dragons find Brandon a bit weird that he likes turpentine dragons because they see see them as pests. Brandon often trains with black dragons so he can learn to defend himself. The dragons in the clan admire his determination despite his lack of talent and defense. The turpentine dragons in particularly like him because he is kind.
