This hatchling could hardly be considered cute.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This poor little creature would have not survived if it hadn't been frozen. Death would have come upon its weak body in the most horrible of ways. Plagued by illnesses and malnutrition its parents tossed it away so it wouldn't affect its brethren. The creature was lucky enough to be stepped on by its current dragontamer or it would have gone unnoticed. Its weak squeaks and growls would not be heard and it would have lived for another hour at most as its unprotected body would not keep away the October cold. Now, going by Luckheart, the hatchling has the privilege to live inside Flitz's house, enjoying the comfort that is necessary for it to survive as it will never be completely healthy. It doesn't mind though. Frilled Terminator's company and its owner's pies keep it satisfied and spoiled.
