Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Alursa is everything Elders prizes in their females. Integrity, refinery, intelligence.

Her taste is, however, questionable.

She fell hard for Nytez, a quirky but noble black marrow. Elders believed him to be barely suited for social contact, much less with such a delicate flower. Nytez never stopped trying to prove himself. This, sadly, led to his end.

She was there that day, watching from the mountain. He was surrounded by the enemy, but she wasn't worried. Sure enough, Nytez took them all down, but the fight had taken its toll. And Elders didnt miss the chance to preen their ranks.

Alursa didn't get there fast enough. She laid beside his dying form through that rainy night, hoping some of her life would go into him. She was literally dragged away the next morning from his corpse, spitting and screaming. She let Skella, Nytez's sister, believe he fell at the hands of Creorluna. But the truth is far worse. He was a victim of the same clan he was willing to give his life to protect.
