Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Like the egg it hatched from, it is a very shiny gold.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This Frozen Hatchling is in love with fanny packs. Being born in the wrong decade, he is constantly mocked by "some not-cool people" that hate his fanny pack. He was frozen by his owner in effort to prevent his obviously-flawed genes from dirtying the pool.

His fanny pack was obtained when he found a lost hiker, and he does his best to hide it from the other dragons. Some dragon's like to hoard gold; he likes to hoard strange human accessories, even if it's viewed as unacceptable dragon behavior.
