Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sparkly Faced Baby Daddy, as his name suggests, sparkles. In fact, not only does he sparkle when sunlight should happen to touch his scales, he shimmers and gleams like a pallid jewel. Once Sparkly had been quite proud of his ability to twinkle in the warm sun, but an old silver dragon had remarked that he looked like a sickly snow ball and dubbed him Sparkly Face. Crushed, Sparkly stayed in the shadows sulking and brooding, while elaborately arranging the tuft of hair between his ears into a towering bouffant hair-do. After many centuries of sulking and painstakingly arranging his coiffure, he met an insipid teenage vampire, who constantly looked constipated and vapid. Together the mopey and jejune pair had a child. Although how a being without a pulse or the ability to breed fathered a child is absurd and baffling, his child lives. Sadly, his girl is in constant fear of shirtless and puerile werewolves.
