When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Since Aquies was the first water dragon to enter the cave there was no place for him to stay at first, which wasn't so bad when he was just a hatchling. But as he got older and needed to be in the water more this became a problem. Thankfully by this time Xzimeon had become the leader of their little family and had Miyumikun search through the caves winding tunnels for an underground lake. Miyumikun found something even better. A large, deep lake in a lush green valley completely surrounded by mountains. The lake is fed by an underground river that flows through the cave system under the mountains. This is where Aquies now stays, and the rest of the dragons reside in the valley and the nearby cave system. He travels up the river to visit his foster son Cormic in the underground saltwater pool.
