Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.
User Description
The problem with being a dragon made of savoury cheese is that there are various creatures constantly trying to eat you, mice being the primary predator. This dragon and his friends have developed a simple and effective solution for that: a gigantic fly swatter. AAAAAAAH A MOUSE searches the cave for his arch enemy, then screams "aaaaaah a mouse!" to attract their enemy's attention. The mouse should then run after the bait, and as soon as the bait has passed the giant fly swatter is activated to help the mouse to the happy hunting-grounds. That is, at least, their theory. In practice, the mice generally just hide in some tiny nooks or crannies the moment AAAAAAAH A MOUSE starts screaming.
