Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Violet Star of the Night Sky(Violet) is the mate of Sudden Outburst of Bravery(Outburst) and the father of her children. He has a brilliant purple pelt and striking silver hooves that sound like thunder when he gallops through the forest at full speed of 280 mph. He has piercing red eyes that cut through you like a knife. He enjoys hunting for him and his mate, but hates flying. As fast as he can run, he doesn't have the energy to play with his children much, and his influence isn't rubbing off much onto them. Outburst thinks that this is due to the fact that he had no parents.
