Brute Dragons are among the larger dragon breeds. They prefer to live in solitude or small groups, nesting in high, mountainous regions. The only time they openly seek the company of others is during the mating season, when males will fight for the attention of females. The thunderous crash of Brute Dragons butting horns against each other in competition for mates can be heard nearly a mile away.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

GentleCrusher is so named because she is very kind to her friends, but quite ruthless with anyone who wishes to harm them. She is very loyal and protective of her owner and their cave, and often stands guard to ensure no-one of ill intent gets anywhere near it.

A hobby she has is, surprisingly, reading. GentleCrusher loves how a simple piece of paper or parchment can create such exciting and thrilling worlds. However, since most dragons of her species don't encourage reading books or scrolls, she tends to be secretive about this passion of hers, telling only her most trusted friends. She has recently found it necessary to resort to bribery—those pesky pygmies somehow found a way to get into her secret cave! Now she has to give them sweets in return for the promise not to tell other brutes. (Although she occasionally has to threaten them, the misfits have quite a reputation for not making good on promises.)
