Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

h4TEY is short-tempered to begin with, so when her waterhorse neighbours throw starfish out of their territories and into hers, violence often ensues. Her big, floppy feet may not be particularly dangerous, but her slapping can leave quite a sting. To attempt to keep peace, Angelic Foot has begun advocating that waterhorses throw their starfish foes onto land so that the abominations will not end up in anyone else's territory. h4TEY doesn't think this will work, since the shore is part of her territory as well. She hopes to develop a spell to destroy starfish, but as Valkemarian water magic is a variety of creation magic, it is unlikely anything she can learn will be particularly effective. Still, she has an incredible capacity for hate, which could potentially allow her to perform more destructive spells. So long as her ire is directed at starfish and not her neighbours, the shore is at peace.
