Some of its magma has hardened, maybe this means something?

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Drakonlily Vesuvius is named after the volcano Vesuvius nearby Napels in Italy, where her egg was laid. Her father Drakonuius Vuur and mother Drakonlily Lavara were a perfect match, because they both like the warmth of the Volcano. Drakonlily Vesuvius, short called Suvi, is a very energetic young dragon that likes to play hide and seek with her brother Drakonius Magno. When she is hungry, she tends to throw lava around hoping to catch some prey.
