Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The Light is the title given to the silver dragon Dante. This male silver earned this title because of the circumstances under which he was born. The night the egg was laid, there was no moon in the sky, and all but one star shimmered. That star was dim and seemed as if it would fade away until the egg was laid. Then, as if the birth of Dante was what the star was waiting for, it shined so bright that the black of night was as clear as day. Now, every night, Dante flies around the clan's territory, shining like the star did the night he was born.
