Witchlight Dragons are silent, secretive beasts that haunt the most remote corners of the wilderness. They beguile their unsuspecting prey into peril by assaulting their perceptions of reality and stoking the fires of paranoia with masterfully-conjured illusions. Unwary travelers have been led astray by the soft, inviting glow of their eyes amidst a sea of encroaching darkness, never to be seen again. Those that survive a Witchlight Dragon’s psychic onslaughts do not escape unchanged: some believe that the apparitions these dragons summon to tempt or torment their victims awaken them to hidden truths about themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Allodima has never uttered a sound since birth, but she shows that mercy doesn't need to be capable of speech.

Her closest friend is a pyromaniac Grave Dragon, who cannot help but burn down parts of the Jungle near the clan cave. On the flip side, the ashes he does not choose to eat will work as great fertilizer, she knows, but also understands that the jungle must be prepared to evacuate, so that prey can be preserved.

She often uses her magic to lead creatures out of the area that her friend wants to burn, if she doesn't plan on eating them herself. However, at the rate he makes the fires, she and the rest of the clan know that the forest cannot recover soon enough.

With a heart filled with duty and hope, Allodima offers herself to seek a being that can rejuvenate and accelerate the regrowth of the jungle. To make sure things don't get any worse when she's gone, she brings Lumindarl, with her, so that he may burn other forests in their travels. So far, they've had no luck.
