Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Cheerylocks's bakery is known throughout Nworset for its seasonal transformation—when the holidays near, the storefront changes from a run-down looking corner to a lively, inviting place full of decoration. The change is most extreme around Christmas, but she brings her store to life for all holidays. Among wyrmlings, her best-loved pastry is her "Minty Surprise" cakes, which she only makes during the Christmas season. They are baked with fresh mint from her greenhouse to give them a minty flavor, and a simple toy hidden in the batter to add holiday cheer.

When no holidays are near, the lack of energy in her bakery makes it almost unrecognizable. No decorations are up, the lighting is decidedly worse, and with Cheerylocks listless at the counter the air turns from welcoming to unnerving. The mention of a celebratory event, however, can liven her up, and those who have come to her for a centennial cake could attest to the sudden, complete change in her demeanor a celebration can make.
