Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Forest Terror, also known as Forest, or more often Terror, is aptly named. Bright, cheerful, and full of fun, she is also inordinately fond of pulling pranks, usually to the detriment of others.  She is quite nasty compared to others of her species (although not usually on purpose), and most other dragons are either angry at her (for good reason) or a tiny bit scared of her (usually because of a nasty prank she has pulled). Thus, she has yet to find a mate that can tolerate her (somewhat warped) sense of humor; her cheerful facade is often a mask for the loneliness she feels inside. Yet, for all the bad, she does have good qualities as well: she loves hatchlings, and she will save any dragon who is danger, no matter how much she hates them. She is good at drawing and painting, as well as writing, and she is very loving towards her eagle friend, Aqua. However, for some reason she seems to prefer to keep her 'friendly' feelings secret when she is around others.
