Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Buegos, like all the other Geode Dragons, are a mutant species. Buegos however can sense his mutant differences from other dragons, causing him to act violently at any time. He comes from a long linage with few Geodes like him. Buegos' father is the only Geode close enough to Buegos for this dragon to know. His father reminded him about what he was and how his species evolved, and since then he acted cruel and unforgiving towards others. Normal dragons insulted Buegos, which signaled this dragon's killer side to come in use. Buegos prefers to stay hidden, and any company will get injured and occasionally killed. His only good side is shown to his closest friend, Sherepta1 and his relatives.
