Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

True to her breed, Bandison is a wee bit brainless. Rather than consorting with other adult scrollmates, she tends more toward socializing with the hatchlings, who are a little more her speed. Together they tumble, frolic, and generally create playful havok wherever they go.

Thankfully her lack of brainpower also makes her extremely easygoing, and if there is a fight of any sort she is usually to be found at the other end of the cave avoiding it. The only scrapes she's ever managed to get into have been over silly things like trying to toast Kominion's tail (it melted and bubbled a bit) or getting caught stealing Belle's crystals while she was napping. All in all she is a useless—but harmless—jongleur who is at least good for a laugh or two on rainy days.
