Grape Scale is a purple dragon. For that, he got teased a lot in his childhood, er, hatchlinghood. He soon became depressed and almost ran away from the safety of the cave and the Scale Clan. When he was caught by Finscale just as he was jumping into the water to swim away, he broke both of his wings. After that, he decided to become a doctor and help Snowscale with healing the wounded.

Grape's egg was dumped by a dragon breeder, who bred dragons for show. When he found out that the purple dragon was a male, he was disgusted and dumped the egg with only three days left. Warrior took it in and hatched it.
