Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

More than any dragon in EG's cave, Aikou Tegami wants to fit in. The other dragons cast her out, claiming that she isn't a 'true' dragon. However, even though she is treated unfairly, she still believes she can fit in. When she tries to fly with the others, they fly away from her and blow her weightless body away with their wings. When she tries to eat with the others, she can't because she is paper. This makes the other dragons laugh or make fun of her. When she tries to drink, she becomes soggy, and her wings tear, causing her to become flightless until her wings grow back. EG does not know that this kind of injustice is going on. Aikou has never roared, or made rude comments to the other dragons despite her mistreatment. Her only friend is Paperback Writer, another paper dragon in EG's cave. Through her mistreatment, you can always see Aikou in a somewhat happy mood.
