Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Murray, Bentley, and Sly have known each other for as long as anyone can remember. Having grown up together, they have formed their own tight knit little clan. They are a band of mischievous troublemakers. Murray is the brawn of their brotherhood. His method consists of attacking first, and not bothering to ask questions later. He's not known for his brains, but the guys appreciate his skills none the less. His expertise is needed when things need to be moved or demolished, for example. He is also the self-appointed guardian of their team; his stony bulk having protected his buddies on numerous occasions. They are tolerated by the Anu clan, save a certain electric female, as the team has some useful skills. They have come to be known as the Band of Thieves, but they swear that they haven't stolen anything, yet.
