Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Gleam Braival is a beautiful female amphither. When the suns light first appears on the horizon and once it has almost set she sings peaceful melodies to help send others to sleep. But when the sun is in the middle of setting or rising she sings much more stunning songs. During the time of an orange sun she is very sociable as she is never seen throughout the rest of the day, and happily plays with others before she disappears. However, Aura, a male sunsong, often gets on her nerves.
