Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Luminita is rather small for a Terrae, and his habit of chasing off hunters who come into his territory has earned him the nickname of the Deer that Hunts Men. Larger than any deer that has ever walked the earth and winged besides, he would think it a difficult mistake to make, but more than once, a human hunter has seen his antlered head poking out from behind the tree he was nibbling, thought he was quarry, and proceeded to make life difficult for Luminita.

He wishes he would grow larger, so that he could frighten off the hunters once and for all; as that doesn't seem to be happening, he has taken to hunting the hunters—his camouflaged body and silent paws make it easy enough to creep up on them, and having a large creature leap out roaring tends to discourage all but the most desperate.
